Howard Parks is a drummer from Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Born on February 25, 1977, Howard was groomed for music early on.  He learned drums from watching his uncle play and mimicking what he did.  He would later learn to read music in school where he learned that he had perfect pitch.  For a while Howard did the open mic nights and sat in with Whammer Jammers, a piano duo consisting of Kevin Viilo (Trilogy) and Dennie Middleton (The Bimini Brothers) often.  He's also performed with other musicians like his brothers John Gist (Steve Hilger, Groove Merchant, Lynn Thompson) and Randy Gist (Phillip Phillips, Funktion, Lynn Thompson), and other musicians like Jim Shaneberger, The Ffellaz, Paul Lesinski, and many others.  He joined up with rock band Really Bad British Accents in 2006 and recorded their last CD Natural Man with them in 2008.  Howard is currently trying to put together a new group as well as networking to join existing bands or new bands.
